ZRA Smart Invoice

In development

VAT-registered businesses must issue invoices through ZRA's Smart Invoice system. We're building a direct connection between Packshine POS and ZRA (through ZRA's VSDC), so each sale is sent to ZRA automatically and the receipt prints with ZRA's QR code.

It will be included in every plan at no extra cost once ZRA has approved it. Until then, keep issuing Smart Invoices with ZRA's own app or portal alongside Packshine POS.

Every plan includes training for your staff, the owner's Android app for use in your shop, updates while your subscription runs, and support by phone and WhatsApp. Using the app away from the shop is the Owner app anywhere add-on.

Installation is free in Lusaka. Outside Lusaka we charge only the transport, agreed with you before we travel.

Pay once includes 12 months of updates. After that, keep using the version you have for as long as you like, or add a yearly update plan: K700 (Starter), K1,300 (Business) or K2,300 (Multi-shop) a year.

Pay yearly and you get two months free.

If a payment is late, you get 7 days' grace. After that the POS becomes read-only until you pay: you can still see your sales and print reports, but you can't make new sales. Your data is never deleted or held back.

Your data stays with you

Packshine POS runs on your own computer. Selling, stock and reports all work without internet, and your sales, customers and prices never leave your shop unless you switch on an online service.

The POS goes online only to check its licence. It sends only your business name, type, phone number and town, how many shops and tills are switched on, the computer's name, the app version and its licence ID: nothing about your sales, stock or customers. Updates are installed with you, never by themselves.

Want more? Add the online services below, see them working on the POS's Online services screen, and switch them off whenever you like. When you stop, we delete your cloud copy.

Questions

What do I need to run it?

A Windows 10 or 11 computer for each till. A receipt printer and barcode scanner are optional. We can advise on hardware and set it up.

Does it need internet?

No, the shop works offline. The computer needs internet now and then (at least once a month) to renew the licence. Only the online add-ons, such as using the owner's app away from the shop, need a regular connection.

Can Packshine see my sales?

No. Your sales, stock, customers and prices stay on your computer. The licence check sends only your business name, type, phone number and town, how many shops and tills are switched on, the computer's name, the app version and its licence ID. If you choose an online add-on, a copy is kept on our server for you; we look at it only when you ask us for help, and delete it when you stop. See the privacy notice.

How do I pay?

By MTN or Airtel mobile money, or bank transfer. After paying, the licence updates itself within a few hours, or straight away when you press Check now.

What happens after the free trial?

Choose a plan and you get a licence key to type in. Everything you entered during the trial stays. If you don't buy, the POS becomes read-only, so you can still look at your data.

Can I move it to a new computer?

Yes. Tell us and we'll move the licence to the new computer.
